Wagner College sits on a hill overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the New York City Harbor, has a beautiful 105-acre, park-like campus that is only a ferry ride away from the cultural, intellectual, and professional heart of America – Manhattan.  For students, this ideal location means the difference between a typical college education and an educational experience filled with exceptional learning and exciting internship and career opportunities.  For international students, our location is ideal for accessibility with our region’s three international airports, allowing the city to be the major cultural hub of the world.

New York City isn’t the only reason an international student should consider Wagner College.  Our institution offers a student-friendly campus where international students can thrive due to our small classes and individualized attention.  In addition, our safe campus provides an excellent balance between a quiet environment focused on academics with the chance to experience, intern and live in the greatest city in the world.  With Wagner’s heralded Wagner Plan for the Practical Liberal Arts, our students gain real world experience and contacts through internships specific to Wagner College at some of the top international corporations in the world.

Our commitment to cultural diversity, academic excellence and undergraduate experience has rewarded Wagner College with the honor of being the top school in the North “Up-and-Coming Schools” for the second year in a row in U.S. News & World Report’s America’s Best Colleges 2011 Annual Guide, in addition to being listed as one of the top 25 northern universities for the eighth consecutive year.  We have been identified for having “recently made the most promising and innovative changes in the areas of academics, faculty, student life, campus or facilities.”  Wagner has made the “Up-and-Comers” list every year since it was created in 2008.
