At Wagner, an applicant's secondary school grades and college entrance exam test scores will be extensively reviewed during the admission process. But when considering an international student's application to Wagner, the admission committee also looks at proven English proficiency, and achievement outside the classroom: extracurricular activities, community involvement and personal interests.

See the USCIS Website for help with your student visa questions.

At Wagner, an international applicant is defined as a student who needs a visa to study in the United States. We have our own International Student Undergraduate Application, but if you are interested in applying electronically, Wagner College is a member of the Common Application, and can accept applications sent from their site.  We give equal consideration to students applying using our printed application or another approved application, but a supplemental form is usually required to ensure that all questions are the same for all applicants.

The priority deadlines for admission are February 15 for our Fall semester, and October 15 for our Spring semester. (For Physician Assistant and Theatre Majors the deadline to apply is December 1. Music students interested in auditioning for a Music Scholarship must apply by December 15**)

Financial Statement

In order to comply with Immigration and Naturalization Services regulations, all international applicants who plan to attend schools in the United States on the F-1 (student) visa must provide evidence of sufficient funds available for their studies. At Wagner College, you may send this paperwork with the initial application, or send it later with your admission tuition deposit.
