As a NCAA Division I institution, Wagner College offers athletic scholarships in a variety of intercollegiate sports and is interested in enrolling students with athletic talent who also have academic promise to excel as a scholar athlete. Student-athletes who meet all other admission standards may qualify for a partial scholarship to Wagner College. Athletic scholarships will be renewed each year based on active contributing participation in the athletic program along with demonstrated academic success.
Although Wagner College is only permitted by the NCAA to offer athletic scholarships in Division I sports, we are still interested in recruiting new members for ourSpirit Teams - Cheerleading, Dance Team, Pep Band, and our Club Sport of Men's Ice Hockey. Recruiting information can be found in the Athletics section of our website.
If you have been actively involved in your high school/college athletic program, have achieved recognition for your athletic abilities and would like to compete at the NCAA Division I level in college, please completeour athletic performance form and return it with your application for admission by February 15, 2006 for the Fall 2006 semester. Once received, the athletic coach in the sport you designate will make a determination about contacting you and/or your current coach to discuss the possibility of being selected to play on a Wagner College Division I athletic team or on one of its non-Division I teams.
For information on the current NCAA Division I recruiting requirements and regulations, please see the NCAA recruiting pages .
