Academically qualified students may be eligible for scholarships in either Music or Theatre. To be considered, students must audition with the respective departments.

All students who wish to major in Theatre are required to submit a completed application by December 1, 2006. Performance scholarships in Theatre are only available to students who major in Theatre and are actively involved in Wagner College Theatre Productions.

Students who wish to major in Music are not required to audition as part of the admissions process, but are required to audition to be considered for a performance scholarship.

Applicants will be invited to audition by the Admissions Office after an initial review of their complete application.

Theatre Deadlines:

Application Deadline: December 1

On-campus audition requirements for the Theatre major will be forwarded with the Audition Day invitation in January to those students invited to an on-campus audition. Audition Day presents an opportunity for theatre and music students to visit the campus, meet current students in each department, see a Wagner College Theatre production and audition. Theatre students unable to make the Audition Day are permitted to submit an audition tape. Private auditions are not permitted by the Theatre Department. Please contact the Admissions Office if you have any questions about the audition requirements or audition procedure.

Music Deadlines:

Early Decision Application and Audition Deadline: January 1

(Note: Early Decision Music students will not have an opportunity to attend the Audition Day event in March)

Audition Day Application Deadline (Regular Decision): December 15

Final Regular Decision Application and Audition Deadline: March 15

Audition requirements for the Music audition will be forwarded in January with the Audition Day invitation. Early Decision candidates may contact the Admissions Office directly for audition requirements, or access them online. Individual auditions and auditions by tape/phone are permitted by the Music Department. Please contact the Admissions Office if you are interested in scheduling a private audition or submitting a tape.
