Making the most of college: Students speak their minds, by Richard J. Light, Harvard University Press, 2004.
This book outlines an approach to college which encourages students to be active and open explorers.  Topics include being active participants in the advising process, linking in-class with out-of-class learning experiences, and strategies for asking for help when needed.
