Students participating in the Merit Awards Program agree to:
Identify up to three (3) Merit Awards
Secure three sponsors, two (2) must be full time faculty members. Each sponsor must be willing to provide a letter of recommendation and assist in the development and review of at least two (2) of the applicants Merit Award Submissions.
Attend all required workshops: Orientation, Personal Statement and Resume/CV, Professional Etiquette, Interviewing, Mock Interview and Merit Tea Interview.
Establish and submit a schedule for completing the Merit Award Application(s) in a timely manner. This schedule must be submitted to the sponsors, Director of the Honors Program and the Center for Academic and Career Development.
Serve as an advisor to future students preparing Merit Award Applications.
