All freshmen are assigned a faculty advisor who is also an instructor for one of their Learning Community courses and their RFT professor. All first year students will meet their academic advisor during Orientation in order to finalize their schedules. Students continue to meet with their advisors regularly throughout their first semester in order to discuss their transition to college life, to plan their course schedules, and to discuss their major and minor areas of academic interest.

Faculty Advisors keep office hours during which they are available to meet with students. Advisors closely monitor the academic progress of the students whom they advise.
