At Wagner College, there are numerous services that help provide support to students in need. Three of the most important of these services are the Writing Center, the Peer Tutoring Center, and the Research Desk, all located in the Horrmann library.

The Writing Center
Need help writing a paper? The Writing Center, run by  Professor Mary Zanfini, Assistant Dean for Academic Success, is tucked in the right-hand corner of the first floor of the library. WITs, or Writing Intensive Tutors, are students who have been selected by their first-year LC professors as outstanding writers. All WITs have been trained to help with any aspect of a paper; whether you need to figure out a topic or you need your final draft revised, the WITs can help you out!

The Peer Tutoring Center
Organized and run by Professor Mary Zanfini, the Peer Tutoring Center--located in the basement of the Horrmann library-- is one of Wagner College's most valuable resources. Students with extensive knowledge of a particular topic or topics are recommended by department faculty to become Peer Tutors, and are available to help fellow students.

The Research Desk
The Research Tutor desk is also located in the Horrmann library, and is run by Cathy Perkins. Research Intensive Tutors, or RITs, are available to aid students with developing effective research strategies and techniques, along with providing assistance in finding resources in the library.
