History:

Delta Nu was first conceived in 1942 when 7 Wagner College students decided that their interests and aims warranted a stronger bond. They then grouped themselves under the title Mu Nu. Before their plans could materialize to any great extent, the war intervened and claimed the life of one of them, Roger T. Ling.

Five ofthem later returned to Wagner and were determined to continue the work they had started and to foster, in memoriam, the spirit of Roger T. Ling. These men later drew others to their ideals and in December of 1946, the newly formed and named Delta Nu emerged with the avowed purpose of bringing its brothers in active and closer relationships with each other in order to promote the well being of Wagner College, and the Spirit of Brotherhood.
