Application Process
The Summer Housing sign-up period runs from Monday, April 11, 2011 through Tuesday, May 3rd, 2011 at 4 pm. Summer Housing applications are available on this website. All Summer Housing applicants must complete the following :
Students will be notified of their summer housing assignments by Monday, May 16th, 2011 via Wagner College email. Preference will be given to residents who are enrolled in classes for the entire summer.
Location
Summer Housing will be located in Harborview Hall on floors 1-4.
Cost
Students will be charged a weekly rate for Summer Housing. All students must pay their Summer Housing bill in full prior to moving in. Double and triple rooms cost $225 per week, and single rooms cost $330 per week. Limited single rooms are available and priority is given to those with medical needs.
Summer Housing Dates to Remember
Earliest Summer Move-In: During the week of Senior Week -Monday, May 16th to Friday, May 20th
Summer Session A Move-Out date: by June 28th, 2011
Summer Session B Move-In: not before July 3rd, 2011
Check-In and Check-Out Information
Summer Session A Move-In for Current Residents in Housing
Summer Housing residents will be permitted to stay in their current Spring housing assignments until their summer rooms have been cleaned. Once notified, a student may must proceed to the Harborview Hall Lobby area to participate in the Summer Housing check-in process. Staff will be available for summer check-in starting Monday, May 16th. When students arrive in the lobby they will need to sign and date their Room Condition Report (RCR) form, and will receive keys to their summer room. The RA staff will provide a copy of the RCR to students upon request. After having checked in, students must check out of their spring assignment within 48 hours or incur a possible charge.
Summer Session A Move-In for Residents Returning to Campus
If a student needs to leave their spring assignment before their summer room is ready, he/she must check out of their current housing assignment by Thursday, May 12th, 2011 at 12:00 noon. These students must remove all of their belongings from their current room and place them in an off-campus location until they are ready to check-in to Summer Housing the weekend of May 28th, 2011. Students will report to the main lobby of Harborview Hall to check-in. When students arrive in the lobby they will need to sign and date their Room Condition Report (RCR) form, and will receive keys to their summer room. The RA staff will provide a copy of the RCR to students upon request. All students needing housing for Summer Session A must move-in at this time.
Summer Session B Check-In
All students needing summer housing for Summer Session Two must check-in the weekend of July 2nd 2011. Students will report to the main lobby of Harborview Hall between these times to check-in. When students arrive in the lobby they will need to sign and date their Room Condition Report (RCR) form, and will receive keys to their summer room. The RA staff will provide a copy of the RCR to students upon request. All students needing housing for Summer Session B must move-in at this time.
Summer Session Check-Out Dates
Students leaving after Summer Session A must check-out by Tuesday, June 28th, 2011 by 12:00 noon. For students in Summer Session B who are not assigned to housing for the Fall 2011 semester, summer housing assignments must be vacated Tuesday, August 2nd, 2011 by 12:00 noon. If students living in housing for Summer Session B are moving into a Fall 2011 assignment, it is mandatory that these students are present during the week following the last summer class of Session B. The Office of Residential Education will be in contact with each student individually to move them to their Fall 2011 assignment during the week of and the week following the end of classes. We hope to have all moves to Fall assignments completed by August 7th. Any items left in a room after August 7th will be discarded. If a Summer Housing resident plans on leaving housing before their Fall assignment is ready with the intention to return during the Fall 2011 move-in period, he/she must check-out of Summer Housing completely and remove all personal belongings.

Summer Conference Workers
The Office of Residential Education and The Office of External and Summer Programs are looking for responsible, reliable, outgoing and highly self motivated individuals to serve as Summer Conference Workers and Summer Conference Desk Attendants. Summer Conference Workers work 30 hours per week and select on-call evening shifts preparing and maintaining residence hall rooms for summer conference guests. Summer Conference Desk Attendants work 20 hours per week in four, five-hour desk shifts (may include weekend shifts) providing excellent customer service to summer conference guests and ensuring a pleasant visit to Wagner College. Both positions require that students work from May 23, 2011 to August 14, 2011. Compensation includes a single room for the duration of employment in addition to monetary compensation.
