Welcome to the Center For Academic & Career Development
|
The Center for Academic and Career Development offers a comprehensive array of resources and services for undergraduate and graduate students, alumni, faculty, and employers. Students find their own answers to the question, “What’s Your Wagner Plan?” as they follow a 4-step process of self-inquiry, major and career exploration, reflection and decision making, and strategic action - either job search or graduate school pursuit. Alumni are encouraged to remain life-long learners, using career development resources and services for their own job search or graduate school plans. Alumni and parents are encouraged to become a career mentor, offer an internship, and post job openings. Faculty are integral to the academic advisement and career development of Wagner students, and will find a host of referral ideas and resources on these pages. Employers can engage in a range of programs from on-campus recruiting to information tables to posting jobs.
Specialized academic advisement is provided to international students, students with disabilities, and students on academic probation.
The staff members of the Center for Academic and Career Development are eager to assist you as you create a plan of action that is best for you! The CACD is located on the 3rd floor of the Union building, next to the Hawk's Nest.
Check our Events page often for announcements about upcoming workshops and other events.
