About Sara: Sara has an M.A. in Student Affairs/Higher Education Administration from New York University, and is currently working towards her Ph.D. in Higher Education, also at NYU. Her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Music is from Washington University in St. Louis. Sara previously worked in Residential Education at NYU for five years before coming to Wagner College. She is the advisor for Vocal Synergy, the first ever a cappella singing group at Wagner. She serves on the Campus Life Staff Development Committee, and Alcohol and Other Drugs Committee, and as well as chairing the New Initiatives Committee in Residential Education.

About Tristan: Tristan has a Masters in Education from SUNY New Paltz. He has worked in Housing and Residence Life at the University of Hartford, SUNY New Paltz and Clark University before coming to Wagner. Tristan is in his second year at Wagner and is responsible for housing operations and is the chief judicial officer for the Office of Residential Education.

About Letty: Letty is currently working towards a B.A., majoring in Sociology with a minor in Religious Studies. Letty is in her sixth year at Wagner. She is involved in Celebrate Diversity, an annual event hosted by Wagner College. In late December, she was the accompanying staff member for the Expanding Your Horizon Program, traveling to Italy with students from the Theatre Department for 14 days.

About Sabrina: Sabrina obtained a B.A. in Cognitive Science with minor in Health & Human Development from Lehigh University and spent time working in Residence Life at Humboldt State University in California. Sabrina is currently working toward a M.S.Ed. in Adolescent Education from Wagner College. Sabrina is in her second semester as an RD at Wagner. She has been involved with the planning of a coordinated College effort to celebrate Black History Month, and conversations with the campus Social Justice Collective including dialogue on Wagner’s involvement with AAC&U’s Core Commitments initiative. She is also one of the facilitators of the CHOICES program on-campus. Within the Residential Education department, Sabrina is responsible for training and recruitment for the Senior Staff to ensure that they are the strongest team possible.

About Liane: Liane has an M.A.T. in Secondary English both from Manhattanville College. She worked in Residence Life at Manhattanville for three years before coming to Wagner and is in her first semester as Resident Director of Guild Hall and Grymes Hill.

About Melanie: Melanie obtained a B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in English from Muhlenberg College. She is currently pursuing an M.S. Ed. in Adolescent Education at Wagner College, where she is in her second semester. Melanie advises the Residential Greek Committee and serves on the Alcohol and Other Drugs Task Force.

About Matt: Matt obtained an M.A. in College Student Development at Appalachian State University and a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Matt is in his third semester as Resident Director of Towers Hall. He advises the Residence Hall Association (RHA) and takes a lead role in planning and implementing Resident Assistant selection and training for our office.

About Melissa: Melissa Silva was born and raise in the Bronx, where she majored in Nursing at Grace Dodge Career and Technical High School. This Puerto Rican was afforded the opportunity to attend Ramapo College of New Jersey with a full scholarship from Global Kids; a non-profit organization which educates inner city high school students on global issues. At Ramapo she majored in Psychology and graduated with the class of 2008. Melissa is very excited to join the Wagner College community both as a Residential Education staff member and a graduate student, majoring in Elementary Education.
