Meet the Peer Leaders for the Fall 2007 Orientation!!!

Abby Albair is a junior Theatre major with a double minor in Journalism and Music.
She hails from
Columbia, CT, and is extremely active on Wagner’s campus.
Besides being a Peer Leader, Abby is also the Treasurer of Alpha Phi Omega, a national service fraternity, an editor for the Wagnerian, involved in College Choir, the Music Society, Wagner Christian Fellowship, the theatre program, and works as a lab assistant in the theatre department.
Abby runs on massive amounts of coffee, and loves Grey’s Anatomy.
Melissa Alvarez is a sophomore Biology major from
North Arlington, NJ. She is involved with Wagner UNICEF, the Pre-Health Society, Up 'Til Dawn, performed for the V-Day Campaign, and works in the Co-Curricular Office. She loves to sing, have fun, and play sports. Melissa hopes to go to medical school after college to become a cardiologist.
Adam Amster is a senior History major, Finance minor from
Concord, New Hampshire.
He is the Captain of the tennis team, a member of the executive board on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, and enjoys baseball, football, and traveling.
Kristina Andrews is a junior Arts Administration major with a concentration in the Combined Arts.
She hails from
Lincoln, RI, and is involved in many campus activities, including Alpha Omicron Pi, Student Ambassadors, Treble Choir, Habitat for Humanity (Treasurer Apprentice), Up Til Dawn, and works in the Dean’s Office.
Kristina is awesome at making the Chewbacca sound, and loves the ocean.
She even drives a boat for her summer job!
She also LOVES grape candy!
Stephanie Augello is a junior nursing major. She has a minor in management. For the past two years she has been apart of Habitat for Humanity, and Up 'til Dawn. This upcoming year she will continue to be a part of both of these organizations. Stephanie is from
Manalapan,
New Jersey and loves going to the
Jersey shore. Stephanie loves being active, especially playing football.
AJ Banzon is a sophomore Physics major with a minor in Business Management who hails from
Randolph, NJ.
He is also involved in Up Til Dawn, The Pre-Health Society, Media Services, Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, and Civic Engagement.
AJ is also a Firefighter and
EMS personnel, and a part time DJ.
Megan Benson is a junior Accounting and Spanish major from
Brewster, MA.
She is president of the Spanish Club, a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, Promising Student Society, Spanish Honor Society, Accounting and Business Society, and works in the business office.
In her spare time, Megan enjoys anything to do with the Red Sox and traveling to remote places.
Kate Burns is a junior from
South Windsor, CT. She's a music/education major, with a minor in Italian studies. She spent spring semester in
London, taking classes and traveling all across
Europe. She's a member of College Choir, Chamber Singers, Habitat for Humanity, and a sister of Tau Kappa Sigma. She has a borderline obsession with knockoff purses and buying shoes. When she's not running off campus to observe for education classes, she can usually be found eating large amounts of food in the dining hall, or falling asleep in class.
Christopher Cappelli is a junior with a major in Biology.
He hopes to pursue a career in epidemiology.
He is involved in the Extreme Sports Club, Tri-Beta Honor Society, Percussion Ensemble, and Pep Band.
Anjuli Chitkara is a junior Psychology major with a double minor in Gender Studies and Sociology.
She lives in
East Setauket, NY, and is involved on campus with the Treble Choir, Alpha Phi Omega, Psychology Club, Take Back the Night, and Orientation!
She collects magic 8-balls and loves horseback riding.
Anjelica Cunningham is a sophomore this fall, majoring in International Business/Marketing, with a minor in French. She is originally from the small town of
Pembroke,
Massachusetts. On campus she is involved in Up til' Dawn, and Habitat for Humanity. For 12 years she danced with Boston Ballet, and last summer was a juror on a murder trial.
Megan Czaja is a senior Art Major hailing from
Middlefield, CT, and is oh so very excited to be a part of orientation weekend.
She is a member of the Kappa Pi National Art Honor Society and spends the majority of her dime drawing and modeling for Seventeen Magazine… (seriously!)
She hopes one day to work in the
Art Department of a National Magazine!
Lauren Dalton is a senior Accounting Major from
Forked River, NJ.
She is involved in Wagner College Cheerleading, Honor Society, Wagner Student Investment Group, and the Accounting and Business Society.
Lauren is a middle child, and a complete coffee addict!
Rachel Delp is a sophomore from Freehold, NJ.
She is a Political Science major with a Biology minor.
Her future occupation will be a Pediatric Oncology doctor.
She is a student ambassador, also involved in the Pre-Health Society, Hillel and co-coordinator of the First Annual Charity Powderpuff Football Game.
Courtney DelVecchio is a sophomore from
Hasbrouck Heights, NJ.
She is majoring in Business Finance and loves
Wagner College!
She enjoys going to all school events, listening to music, going into the city, and sports!
Courtney Donahue is a senior English major, Journalism minor from Hingham, MA. She recently returned from studying abroad in Ireland, and is involved on campus in WagCab, Habitat for Humanity, and The Wagnerian. She loves the Boston Red Sox, and using the word "wicked" in conversations.
Katherine Ewing is a sophomore from
Wyndmoor, PA, who is an Undeclared major.
On campus, she is involved in Colleges Against Cancer and Earth Club.
Katherine has lived in four different states, and considers Belle to be her favorite of the Disney Princesses.
Jocelyn Ford will be a senior in the fall of 2007. She is from
Neptune, New Jersey. She majors is Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry. She is an athlete and competes on the Track and Field team for
Wagner College. She's a member of the Habitat for Humanity Club and the Nubian Student Union here on campus. She has been in the Wagner College Fashion Show for 3 years now. The show helps raise money toward charity organizations. She also cheers for the Wagner College Football Cheerleading Squad. Two interesting facts about Jocelyn would have to be that she is a twin and she is left handed.
Jesse Hagen was born amongst the cornfields and farms of the great Midwest, but he found his true calling in
Staten Island, NY.
Now a sophomore at Wagner, Jesse remains happy by writing, being involved, and referencing obscure hip-hop.
Oh, he’s an English Major, by the way.

Nadwa Ibrahim is a junior year Chemistry major from
Staten Island, New York. She is the Vice-President of both Gamma Sigma Epsilon, the Chemistry Honors Society, and Kappa Mu Epsilon, the Mathematics Honors Society. Nadwa is terrified of heights but has gone skydiving three times. She was the only person in her class from kindergarten through 8th grade with curly hair.
Harry Jackson is a junior Economics major and a Math and Political Science minor.
He is from Upper Deerfield, NJ, and hopes to practice law in
Manhattan after Wagner.
Harry is involved in the Ambassador Program, and also serves as the Vice President of Communications for the Student Government Association.
He is a self-proclaimed Nintendo master and will school anyone in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
When not pwning people in Nintendo, Harry enjoys shattering other’s hopes and dreams over high-stakes games of Monopoly.

Jennifer Lewis is a junior Chemistry major form
North Scituate, RI.
She is an active sister of Alpha Sigma Alpha.
Other activities she participates in on campus include Student Ambassadors, Pep Band, and Internationalization Action Council.
She recently traveled to
Bangladesh on an Expanding Your Horizons trip through
Wagner College.
After graduation, she wants to pursue a career in International Health and Development.
Katie Lintner is a sophomore Arts Administration major, concentrating in Theatre and Art.
She is from
Perkasie, PA, and is involved in the Arts Administration Society, and WagCAB.
She has always wanted to live in NYC and would like to start a children’s charity organization.
Ken Lucante is a sophomore here at Wagner.
He is an Economics major and a Math minor.
He is a brother in Theta Chi fraternity and an active member in the Economics Honor Society.
He is from the
Jersey Shore.
He has two brothers and a sister.
He played football in high school and loves to snowboard.
He will be an excellent resource for you as incoming first-years, as a Peer Leader!
Nicole Mahoney is a sophomore History and French major with a minor in Journalism who lives in
Leonardo, NJ.
She is involved in Wagner College Habitat for Humanity, The French Connection, History Club, Earth Club, Earth Floor, and now a Peer Leader and LINK.
She loves to cook, and always wants to be at the beach!
Sarah McLaughlin is a dual major in Education and Spanish. She is from
Woodbury Heights, New Jersey and is in her junior year at Wagner . She is a member of the sorority Alpha Sigma Alpha where she serves as the Vice President for Membership Education. She is also involved in SGA and served as the Vice President for Campus Events last spring. This summer she studied abroad in
Madrid, Spain. She is obsessed with the colors lime green and pink and loves to dance wherever she goes.
Kat Murphy is a senior (whoa!) Theatre Education major hailing from
Plymouth, NH.
Besides being busy with the Wagner College Theatre Department, Kat enjoys being busy with Facebook and wearing sunglasses.
She is also an employee of the Wagner College Coffeehouse.
Nicholas Mustakas is a senior Arts Administration: Art, Music, and Theatre and Theatre:Design, Tech, and Management Double Major from
Staten Island, NY. He is a Wagner College Student Ambassador. He is a Youth Worker at Salem Evangelical Free Church. Recently Nick has traveled to
Kenya, as a part of the Wagner College Expanding Your Horizons Program, to work for two weeks in several HIV/AIDS organizations. He is the founder and executive director of Knowledge is the Cure and the recipient of the first ever annual Civic Engagement Recognition Student Award.
David Norman is a junior from
Vernon, Connecticut. He is an Arts Administration, Theatre concentration major with a minor in Political Science. He is Director of Cultural and Religious Activities for Hillel and is co-founder of the Wagner Shakespeare Society. He is an active participant in Wagner College Theatre, Project Pericles and Debating for Democracy. He learned how to juggle at age seven and is proud to be both Irish and Jewish!
Brittany O’Neil is a senior Elementary Education and English major from
Long Island.
Brittany is a member of the Jazz Band and Concert Band, and is the campus representative for the Walt Disney World College Program.
She previously participated in the
WDW College program in the summer of 2006 and will be returning this summer.
Erin O’Neil is a senior Theatre Performance major, English minor from
Massachusetts, and is thrilled to be making her orientation debut!
She is the President of Alpha Omicron Pi, an international sorority on campus, and most recently performed in Wagner’s Main Stage production of “
Oklahoma!”
Michael Pinto is a sophomore Government and Politics major.
He is a Staten Islander but enjoys dorming at Wagner.
Michael is an active member of a local theatre group on
Staten Island.
He enjoys playing the piano and knows way too much about the history of Broadway, TV, and movies!
Bekah Quencer is a sophomore Music major.
She lives in
Clayton,
NY, really close to
Canada.
She is involved in Choir, Chamber Choir, and vocal jazz.
She is also in the Pep Band, Allies, and is a sister of Tau Kappa Sigma.
Bekah was her high school’s valedictorian and even her blood is smart: she is A positive.
This summer, Bekah sang Opera in
Italy.
Alison Razzetti is a junior Psychology major from Glen Head, NY.
Alison is a proud sister of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority, and is involved in the Pre-Health Society.
She loves going to the beach, and laughing.
Kevin Richard is a senior Economics major with a double minor in Finance and Mathematics.
He hails from Utica, NY and is involved in many campus activities, including VP of Finance for the Student Government Association, Omicron Delta Kappa (the Economics Honor Society), and CIO and co-founder of the Wagner Student Investment Group.
Kevin also enjoys hiking and architecture.
Yvonne Rodriguez is a senior Arts Administration major with a concentration in Art.
She lives in
Middletown,
NY (
Orange County).
Yvonne is also involved in Kappa Sigma Alpha Co-Ed Fraternity, Greek Senate President, Kappa Pi Honorary Art Fraternity, Community Standards Review Board, and the Greek Judicial Board.
She lived in
Puerto Rico for 7 months and loves to travel.
She hopes to one day live in
Europe.
Yvonne once was on stage and sang a song with her favorite band, Everclear, and at the end of the show gave her favorite bracelet to the lead singer!
Katharine Ronald is a senior Arts Administration major from
Phoenix, MD. She is a sister of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority, and just spent a semester interning at the
Foundling Museum in
London.
Katharine will watch pretty much any movie… except chick flicks!
Nicole Rossini is a junior from
Staten Island, NY who is returning as a Peer Leader for her second year.
She works as a salesperson and artist at a children’s personalized gift store.
Nicole is also of Cuban descent and speaks Spanish when at home.
Jennifer Santana is a sophomore majoring in Physician Assistant Studies.
She hails from
Bogota, NJ, and is also a Student Ambassador, a member of the Newman Club, Physician Assistant Association, and now Peer Leaders.
Jennifer loves taking care of other people, whether it be family, friends, people in hospitals, patients that she works with, baby-sitting, or just generally volunteering in any way that she can, because she finds it very rewarding.
She also loves to cook and bake using new recipes she finds while watching Rachel Ray and/or anyone else on the Food Network!
Morgan Scott is a senior Business major with her concentration in Marketing from
Baltimore, Maryland.
She will be President of Student Government for the 2007-08 school year and is looking forward to getting a number of the first year students participating in the organization and its events.
Morgan is also involved in a number of other activities on campus including being a Student Ambassador, Writing Intensive Tutor, and a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Honors Leadership Society.
She has been an avid equestrian since the age of 5 and continues to ride whenever she goes home to
Maryland.
Morgan is returning to Wagner after spending a semester abroad in
London and traveling throughout
Europe.
Andrew Sheldon is a sophomore from
West Des Moines, IA. He is considering Political Science as his major, but is currently Undeclared.
Andrew is a Student Ambassador and works for the Admissions Office.
He’s a member of Theta Chi fraternity.
Andrew enjoys Rueben sandwiches and walking his yellow Labrador named
Jersey.
Kaitlin Sheridan is a Junior Arts Administration major with a concentration in music at Wagner. She is from a
Holland,
Pennsylvania, just outside
Philadelphia. She is also involved in the Treble Concert Choir, Promising Student Society, Community Standards Review Board, and the LINK program. She has a twin brother and is traveling to
Paris to study abroad in the spring!
Jacob Shoesmith-Fox is an Arts Administration major in his Junior year at Wagner. His hometown is
Canadensis, PA. Jacob is a proud brother of the co-ed fraternity Kappa Sigma Alpha, where he serves as Fundraising chair. He is also executive producer of the College V-Day Campaign and head technician for the Vagina Monologues. He has worked as a fly man and a spot operator for the main stage theatre and he was the official photographer for 365 plays 365 days at Wagner. He is a member of the College Choir, and LIFE (formerly Harp and Bowl, the Christian Fellowship group on campus). He has previously represented Wagner at the 2005 College Democrats of New York downstate convention. Jacob encourages Wagner students to get involved with the V-day campaign and any other clubs next year!! Be an active student, you will never regret it.
Jake Shore is a sophomore student at
Wagner College and is from
Barrington, RI. He is undeclared but is planning on being an accounting major. Jake is a Student Ambassador and also a member of Theta Chi fraternity. He plays the guitar and plans on participating in an internship in
New York City this summer.
Seneca Smith - After spelunking across Europe, Seneca chose to come to
Wagner College to become a double major in underwater basket weaving and dendrochronology. Having grown up on a small llama farm in
Pennsylvania, this seemed like the ideal combination for a future trophy wife. However, due to political fallout, she changed plan, sold her harnesses, and began studying International Politics and French (just in case she ever wanted to return to the caves). Now she balances her time between the campus radio station, student government, working for the information technology department and delousing small animals. During her next two years at Wagner, Seneca hopes to continue working in
Manhattan, because she feels riding the ferry twice a day is an existential experience, as well as occasionally taking classes which include manual labor.
Michael Storiale is a Junior at Wagner, and is very excited to return as a peer leader for the second time. Michael is an active brother in Theta Chi Fraternity, as well as Assistant Editor for Nimbus. He is also a Writing Intensive Tutor, Student Ambassador, and participates in Wagner Christian Fellowship. Originally from Old Saybrook, CT, Michael is a Marketing and International Business major, and plans to study abroad in the summer of 2008. He loves to write and work on graphic design, and hopes to someday own his own business.
Margot Vanriel is a senior Arts Administration major from
Bloomfield, CT. She is involved with Habitat for Humanity, the Nubian Student Union, works in the office of Co-Curricular, and loves
America’s Next Top Model.
Taylor Wheaton is from
Elmira NY, and will be a junior in the fall semester of 2007. She is a Chemistry major with a concentration in Biochemistry, a Spanish minor, and is in the pre-medical program. After she receives her undergraduate degree she wants to go to medical school for Pediatrics. In her free time, she loves to travel and dance!
Kristen Woodbury is a senior Sociology major, with minors in Music and Gender Studies. She hails from
Hardyston, NJ and has been a Peer Leader for the past three years. On campus, Kristen is involved with the Music Society, Amnesty International, Allies, Omicron Delta Kappa leadership honor society, and is co-president of the Alpha Kappa Delta sociological honor society. She is also the Vice President of Service in Alpha Phi Omega (APO), a new service organization on campus. In terms of "fun facts," she has a metal plate in her left leg.
