
In case of severe weather, the undergraduate (bachelor's degree candidates) will line up in Megerle Hall;
The graduate (master's degree candidates) will line up in the Spiro Sports Center Hallway (by the swimming pool).
At the same time, each family will be issued three tickets to view the ceremony from one of the alternate sites. There will be four (4) alternate viewing sites where family and friends can watch commencement on a large screen television monitor. These sites are the main dining hall, Main Hall Theater, and Spiro classrooms 2 and 5. These set-ups are for those family members who do not have the rain tickets to get into the actual commencement ceremony in the Spiro Sports Center.
The Spiro Sports Center will open at 9:00AM to begin seating people for commencement exercises.
Campus facilities surrounding Sutter Oval will be open for people to congregate while waiting for commencement. This includes the Horrmann Library, Spiro Hall and the Spiro Sports Center. The large reception tent located on the Oval will also be available for people to use.
Restrooms will be available in all of the buildings around the Sutter Oval, including: Spiro Hall, Horrmann Library and the Spiro Sports Center.
Any family members with special needs (wheelchairs, handicap access) will be assisted by the Public Safety Officers.
