New Logos and Usage
In 2009, as a new recruiting viewbook and website design were launched, Wagner College introduced a series of new logos. Incorporating a similar style to the school's previous nameplate but with updated typography, the new logo includes the line "Be Part of the City," referring to Wagner's New York City location. For the majority of purposes, either one of the two logos which can be downloaded below should be used. For purposes of marketing, identity and consistency, use of either of these is preferred over the seal or crest which are often mistakenly applied to a variety of publications. The seal and crest should be reserved for high level documents and publications that actually require the College imprimatur, such as diplomas or items issued from the President's office. Also, the seal and crest are unsuitable for many external purposes because they do not readily identify the institution. So, if you're creating an advertisement, a brochure, a PowerPoint or anything else that will be viewed externally, please use these logos. Many of you who work on these items will already be doing so in conjuction with the communications office, but if not, please contact us so that we may help ensure that your publication is consistent with our graphic identity standards.
If you need a logo that incorporates your department or division name, we can create one for you.
