Electron Microscopy Center
Established in 1973 by the Charles E. Hayden Foundation and the Christian A. Johnson Endeavor, the Wagner College Center for Electron Microscopy has been used in cutting edge research and as a training tool for Wagner students for over 30 years. The center is located in the Megerle Science Building in rooms B9 and B10. It encompasses a Philips CM-100 transmission electron microscope as well as a Topcon ABT-32 scanning electron microscope. Support equipments include two Sorvall ultramicrotomes, Hitachi vacuum evaporator and sputtering system. This equipment is available to all trained Wagner faculty, staff and students. Please note: Students intending to use the EM for research or other projects are required to have successfully completed the Electron Microscopy Course (BI/MI 517 or MI 615).
