Center For Intercultural Advancement

Students of Color

The Center for Intercultural Advancement, located in Union 204, exists to support and enrich the experience of students from all backgrounds and in particular those who identify as people of color.  Throughout the year, we hold events which honor the history and legacy of various diaspora communities and educate the campus about various issues which affect these communities.

If you have ideas for events, wish to express an opinion or get involved, please contact the Center directly and we would be glad to help!

Study Abroad
At Wagner we work to internationalize the campus and to that end studying abroad for our students adds perfectly to this mission.  At the Center, we inform students of all opportunities for education abroad and hope to make this an integral part of the Wagner experience.

One of our partners, IES has a great section for students from backgrounds that have been underrepresented in study abroad.  Check it out on their website.  It provides some great feedback from actual students who went abroad through IES.

Diversity Action Council
This council serves as the voice of the community comprised of faculty, staff and students.  We have an ear to the community and strive to make Wagner a place that is welcoming to all.  If you have any questions, please visit the page and follow the link to e-mail us with your questions, concerns and suggestions.
