Specialty Counselors
Camp Ramapo is looking for speciality counselors interested in the following positions: outdoor/woods specialists; ropes course facilitators; athletics; waterfront; craft areas; performance arts; reading center; science discovery center; garden and animal care.
The camp serves ages 4 to 16 with a wide range of emotional and learning problems. The experience provides outstanding professional training and fieldwork experience. The camp offers staff members a salary, room and board, and travel reimbursement for employment from June 20, 2010 through August 20, 2010.
Conducts an on-site college cours (6 semester hours) that can be credited in one of the following disciplines: education, special education, educational psychology, therapeutic recreation, group dynamics, outdoor recreation, physical education, recreation, camp counseling or community service.

Child Care
We are looking for a full time babysitter for our 2 year old daughter and 4.5 month old son. Ideally would like someone who is able to come to our house in Prince's Bay around 6:30am and stay to approximately 6:30pm. We are looking for students who have their drivers license and would be able to drive our daughter to her daily activities. If the hours are too long, we are open to splitting the job between two people with one person working the 6:30am-2:30pm shift and the second person working the 2:30pm-6:30pm shift.

Mother's Helper/Tutor
Approx. 10-12 hour per week $10 per hour (more possible)
Female college student needed from approximately 3:00 to 7:00 pm 2-3 days per week (hours and days are flexible---no Fridays) to help bright, well-behaved 7th grade girl with homework and study habits as well as light household assistance (unloading dishwasher, pick up and straighten, put laundry away, etc.). No heavy cleaning. Higher hourly pay is negotiable if car is available for short errands or for more intensive tutoring.
Child lost father 3 months ago to cancer. She has some unique learning needs as she was adopted from Russia 4 years ago. She is 100% fluent in English (remembers no Russian) and needs extra help in most subjects due to problems with spelling, grammar, reading comprehension, study skills and test prep. Child’s mother is a working professional with a Ph.D. Private home is in a safe neighborhood (New Dorp Heights near Farrell High School) on a bus line and within walking distance of train.
Helper/tutor must like friendly energetic dogs and provide own transportation. Excellent written and spoken English is a must!
