You can dual major in one of 10 content areas with education that can lead to teaching certification in grades 1-6. For those who wish to teach adolescent (grades 7-12), you should declare an Education Minor. You are then eligible, if you meet all admission criteria, to enter the graduate master’s degree program that leads to certification. Note that students can declare an Education Minor also to teach grades 1-6, but you too would have to enter the graduate program.
