To All Undergraduate and Graduate Education Majors,

"Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education, is committed to recognizing excellence and fostering mutual cooperation, support, and professional growth for educational professionals.

"Kappa Delta Pi elects those to membership who exhibit the ideals of scholarship, high personal standards, and promise in teaching and allied professions. Being inducted as a member of Kappa Delta Pi is based on high academic achievement, a commitment to education as a career, and a professional attitude that assures steady growth in the profession."

You may become a member of Kappa Delta Pi by joining Wagner College's chapter.
Membership in this chapter depends on the following criteria:

- Undergraduates students must have a GPA of 3.3
- Graduate students must have a GPA of 3.5
- You must have completed 3 education courses or be in the process of completing your 3rd education course.
 
WHERE TO GET APPLICATIONS:
- An application was sent as an attachment with this email
 or,
- An application can be retrieved in the Education Department
 
DEADLINE FOR RETURNING APPLICATIONS:
- In order for our chapter to consider your induction into Kappa Delta Pi, the completed applications must be handed in by Nov. 15th
 
-Applications must be handed in to Dr. Lauria's office in Campus Hall Rm 321 or in her mailbox in the department.
 
TENTATIVE DATE FOR INDUCTION CEREMONY
- The tentative date for the ceremony will be Tuesday, Dec. 6th.
