Frank DeSimone

Professor DeSimone was most recently the Chief Operating Officer of Enforsys. Inc., a sophisticated software development and distribution company. He held Executive positions in internet advertising and its related technology, the manufacturing and distribution of Cosmetics and Fragrances and as the President, founder and co-owner of a start-up outsourcing Company called Cambridge Business Services. Professor DeSimone was also the Area Controller of Helena Rubinstein’s Caribbean Division stationed in Puerto Rico, and held senior management positions at Colgate Palmolive and Pan American World Airways.

Among his many professional achievements is the development of Enforsys, Inc. into the number one provider of sophisticated law enforcement software in the state of New Jersey. Professor DeSimone also acquired, integrated and consolidated the Ben Rickert and Cambridge brands into a Private Label cosmetics manufacturing company. He managed the successful Public offering of Azurel, Inc. on the NASDAQ stock exchange, and negotiated the worldwide fragrance distribution agreement with Anne Klein. He launched the Giorgio Armani, Anne Klein and Givenchy Ysatis fragrance brands in the United States.

After many years as an adjunct professor at LIU Brooklyn Campus and in the Wagner Executive MBA program, Professor DeSimone joined Wagner College as a full time professor in 2005. He is coordinator of the Senior Learning Community for the Business department and is faculty advisor to the Marketing Club. He won the Graduate Professor of the Year award in 2006 and the undergraduate faculty advisor recognition award in 2007. He was inducted into the ODK leadership honor society in spring 2009.

Professor DeSimone is currently in the process of completing the dissertation for his Ph.D. at the International School of Management, based in Paris.
