Sara Klein has been at Wagner College since 2007 in her full-time position as the Director of Residential Education. She is currently writing her dissertation to complete a Ph.D. in Higher Education from New York University. Prior to entering the profession of student affairs, Sara worked as an analyst at Goldman Sachs, in the Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities Division. Sara’s research interests span many areas of diversity and social justice, most notably Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer issues, college student self-segregation by race and ethnicity, and identity development of African-American college students. She has presented at many national conferences such as the American College Personnel Association, the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators, and the American Association of Colleges and Universities. Sara has published in professional magazines as well as in the Journal of College and University Student Housing. Additionally, Sara teaches two webinars, Managing Multiple Priorities and Multicultural Competence in Higher Education, for the American College Personnel Association and Reslife.net. |
