She has been studying voice with Shelly O’Hara for five years and studying theatre with Rosemarie Callahan (Director of the Staten Island Children’s Theatre Association) for seven years. Along with voice and musical theatre, Lisa has been studying theory at the Staten Island Conservatory of Music with Valeda Zaage-Bell. She has appeared in numerous recitals, musical reviews and plays, including: Annie, 1999; The King and I, 2000; Oliver, 2001; Fiddler on the Roof (as Hodel), 2002; Sound of Music (as the Mother Abbess), 2003; and Guys and Dolls (where she appeared in the lead role as Sarah Brown), 2004. Lisa has participated in the Young Musicians Competition for three years, all three placing first in voice (Group I, 2001and 2002, Group II, 2003). In 2003 she was awarded the Grand Prize in Group II. Since that time, Lisa has been preparing for her solo concert.
