Physician Assistant Major
 
The PA major consists of a two-year pre-physician assistant curriculum followed by the three-years of the professional Physician Assistant Program. Successful completion leads to the BS/MS in Advanced Physician Assistant Studies and eligibility to take the national certifying examination leading to the title of Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C).
 
 
Pre-Physician Assistant (Pre-PA) Curriculum
 
During the first two years at Wagner College, students take courses in the sciences, that comprise preparation for the physician assistant field, as well as the general education course requirements needed to proceed to the Physician Assistant Program.
 
 
Physician Assistant (PA) Program
 
Wagner College offers a professional Physician Assistant  Program for the prospective student interested in pursuing a career as a physician assistant.  This program culminates in the BS/ MS in Advanced Physician Assistant Studies. 
 
 
Graduate Program in
Advanced Physician Assistant Studies
 
Wagner College also offers a graduate program for the practicing physician assistant wishing to obtain the MS degree.  This program for the practicing physician assistant culminates in the MS degree in Advanced Physician Assistant Studies.
