Study Abroad Overview
2008-2009

All applications, even when available online, must go through the Center through Intercultural Advancement (Union 202).  Study abroad programs, whether for a summer (2 units), a semester, or a full may year fulfill the requirement for the Intermediate Learning Community (two courses related thematically) and meet the Intercultural requirement.

Credits taken abroad appear on the transcript with the grades earned but are calculated as transfer credits and do not affect the students Wagner GPA. Internships are available at many sites.

For all semester and year study abroad programs, students must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average at the time of application and must be in good disciplinary standing.  Study abroad deadlines are at the end of February of the year before the academic year the student wishes to study abroad. Example:  A student wanting to go abroad in fall 2009 or spring 2010 must fill out the Wagner pre-approval to study abroad sheet by the February 2009 deadline.
