Junior year I interned at Merrill Lynch and the summer into my senior year I interned at Credit Suisse First Boston Most Interesting Academic Experience: Although cynical, I took a course on the economics of genocide which was an in-depth study of how genocide was supported by economic belief and theories. The course traveled through different areas of history examining genocide and the economic effects domestically and internationally. The course ended with a final research paper where I examined genocide through Henry Ford. This was an area I never studied before and became one of the most interesting and well written papers I have completed during my time at Wagner. About Wagner: I started getting involved the second semester of my freshman year. I took over as manager of the on campus Coffeehouse. This was one of my greatest experiences as Coffeehouse popularity and profits grew in large amounts. Later, I became involved in the Student Government Association. Last year I was the Coordinator of Campus Programming, which oversaw Wagner’s Campus Activities Board that plans events both on and off campus for Wagner students. This year I was elected the President of the Student Government Association and work to inspire continued student involvement on campus. I also serve as a Student Ambassador for Admissions. After Wagner: I have accepted a position as a full time analyst in the credit risk management department of Credit Suisse First Boston. |
