This five-course certificate has been designed to fulfill the educational requirements for the Certified Financial Planner certification examination, administered by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. You will learn the fundamentals of financial planning, including investment planning, income tax planning, financial planning, process and insurance, retirement planning, employee benefits, and estate planning.
Why pursue the CFP® certification? The public’s growing need for objective financial planning advice, combined with the rigorous standards demanded of CFP® certificants, have placed professionals with CFP® marks at the forefront of the financial planning profession.
Upon successful completion of this program you will have:
• Satisfied the course requirements of the Certified Financial Planner Board.
• Substantive knowledge and technical skills for professional competence as a financial planner.
• Knowledge of all 101 topics mandated by the Certified Financial Planner Board.
• Proficiency with use of a financial calculator.
Who Should Take this Course?
Investment Advisors, Stock Brokers, Accountants, Tax Managers, Insurance Brokers and anyone responsible for the management of finances.
Faculty: All courses are taught by experienced faculty with real-world experience who hold the CFP® designation.

In this course you'll learn about the wide variety of investment vehicles that may be included in a client's portfolio, as well as client assessment, tax considerations, economic factors, valuation methods, asset allocation techniques, portfolio performance evaluation, and more. Having the knowledge to choose the right investments is essential for implementing your clients' financial plans-and ensuring their confidence in you.
