Mosquito Biology

Mosquitoes are insects. More specific, mosquitoes are flies of the family culcidae that is part of the order diptera. Mosquitoes have four developmental stages through which each individual passes: egg, larva, pupa and adult. A description of the biology of each of these stages can be reached through the menu on the right.
