Dr. Jennifer Lauria, Associate Professor of Education, specializes in the areas of childhood education, teaching and learning styles, differentiated instruction and educational technology. In addition to teaching students in the undergraduate and graduate childhood education programs and supervising teacher candidates at Wagner College, Dr. Lauria has been an instructor in Wagner College’s nationally acclaimed First Year Program of Interdisciplinary Learning Communities. Dr. Lauria serves as the coordinator of undergraduate programs for the Department of Education. Dr. Lauria served for many years as faculty advisor to Wagner College’s student chapters of both Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education and The Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD). Prior to joining the faculty at Wagner College, Dr. Lauria spent a decade teaching grades 1-4 in both general education and inclusive settings at P.S. 22 in Region 7 of the New York City public school system. |
