There are two types of employment available to students at Wagner: Federal College Work-Study and College-Funded (Regular Payroll).

In order to be eligible for either type of employment a student must meet certain criteria including but not limited to satisfactory academic progress, minimum of half-time enrollment and federal and state employment eligibility.

Federal College-Work Study (CWS)

Students must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and demonstrate financial need to be considered for CWS. To confirm your CWS eligibility, please contact the Office of Financial Aid.

Currently, students who are CWS eligible, may participate in community service positions. Wagner College maintains jobs with two off-campus sites: the "Virtual Y" of the YMCA of Greater New York and the NYC Public Service Corps. On campus, Wagner's VITA program (Volunteer Income Tax Program) serves the Staten Island community. We anticipate having additional locations available for the 2005-2006 academic year.  For applications for any of these positions, please come to the Office of Financial Aid.

College-Funded (Regular Payroll)

Students who are college-funded do not qualify for CWS. The college-funded students are able to apply for positions after the two-week priority placement of the CWS students.
