Graduate Assistantships

CURRENT OPENINGS:

Academic & Cultural Enrichment:  Provide support to the A.C.E. coordinator.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  flyer design & distribution; preparation, sending and oversight of speaker contracts, preparation of honorarium payments; booking and confirming media equipment needs; occasional escort of speakers to and from campus; positing of electronic board announcements; maintenance of the A.C.E. website; outreach to students.  Candidate must be detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.  Position starts fall, 2010.  Applicants should apply to:  martocci@wagner.edu

Office of Institutional Advancement:  Provide support to various projects and events. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  data entry, research, alumni activities.  Candidate must have knowledge of MS Word & Excel.  Occasional night and weekend work required.  Position starts fall, 2010.  Applicants should apply to:  gferreri@wagner.edu

Office of Financial Aid:   Provide support to Financial Aid administrative staff, students parents and the Wagner College Community.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  reception duties, data entry, proof reading financial aid award summaries, participation in various departmental functions.  Some nights and weekend work required.  Must have good oral, written and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as a part of a team.  Position starts summer, 2010.  Applicants should apply to:  tweimer@wagner.edu

Center for Academic & Career Development:  Provide support to assist in the overall operations of the department, providing academic and career services to students.  The successful candidate will have demonstrated interest in providing services to students and the ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with students, alumni, employers and faculty.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  management of internship database, resume and cover letter preparation, compilation of statistical data for surveys and internship and employment tracking, assist with disability services, appointment scheduling, programming for workshops and seminars.
