You are prohibited from accepting gifts or gratuities, whose worth is over $50, from individuals and firms with which the College does business.  The acceptance of such gifts is unprofessional and can compromise business decisions, which are not in the best interest of the College.

If there is any question as to the propriety of a gift it should be rejected or returned with the explanation that accepting it is contrary to College policy.
