Wagner College, a private comprehensive college with an ACS-approved chemistry major, invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor beginning Fall 2012 in organic chemistry. The successful candidate will be expected to have a strong commitment to teaching and pedagogy of organic chemistry and maintain an active undergraduate research program. Research facilities include a new Varian 400-MHz NMR spectrometer.
A Ph.D. in chemistry is required and postdoctoral work is desirable.

ADJUNCT PROFESSOR - ENGLISH

AEN 011 Instructor position for fall 2011. Two sections of the course meet two hours per week each. Total compensation is $4000 ($2000 per section/course).
EN 011: The Foundations in Writing lab is a 0 unit course, meeting twice a week. Students will work on writing assignments associated with their First-Year Learning Community, and on strengthening writing skills such as development of thesis statements, organization of ideas into a paper, researching and proper modes of citation, and College-level writing.

The Wagner College Department of History seeks an Assistant Professor in Global History, with a focus on either African, Islamic or South Asian History, beginning fall 2010. The successful candidate will teach the introductory global history survey course as well as upper-level courses in fields of specialization. Interdisciplinary teaching is encouraged. Candidate are expected to participate in Wagner’s nationally renowned , interdisciplinary First Year Program, including teaching writing and using experiential and civic learning projects that explore New York City, Ph.D. required by August 2011, teaching experience preferred.

The School of Nursing seeks an Assistant Professor to teach across the nursing curriculum in clinical and theory in the BS and MS programs.

Masters in Nursing,

experience in curriculum development,
