Connecting An LCD Projector To A Video Presenter

1. LCD Projector |
|
|
2. Samsung Video Presenter |
|
|
3. VGA Cable |
|
|
4. Extension Cord (Possibly) |
| 1. Lens - Can rotate to the front and back. |
| 2. Main Support. |
| 3. Main Lock Button - Press to move the main support. |
| 4. Lamp Unit. |
| 5. Document Plate - Built in light box |
| 6. Main Control Panel - (See instructions below.) |
| 7. IR Sensor. |
| Step by Step: |

1. Plug in the LCD projector and turn on the main power switch. |
|
2.Connect the VGA cable to the "RGB IN1" input on the LCD projector. |
|
3. Connect the other end of the VGA cable to the "VGA OUT1" output on the video presenter. |
|
4. Turn the power on for the LCD, once the power light glows orange, the projector is ready. Press the "ON/STAND BY" button. The power light will glow green, the status light goes out and the lens will slowly warm up projecting a blue square. |

PLEASE NOTE: If you press ON, OFF and then ON immediately, the projector may not turn on right away. Instead the status light will blink red. This is just the projector's way of warning the user that it needs to cool down. In the event that this happens, leave the projector plugged in with the main power switch turned on. This will allow the projector's fan to remain on to cool off the lamp inside. After 3-5 minutes, the projector will be ready to function properly.

5. Plug in the video presenter. Turn it on by pushing the green button on the front panel. |

6.Press the "SOURCE" button. A menu will appear on the screen. Select "RGB1." |
|
7. Select the XGA mode on the video presenter by pushing the "MODE" button until it is lit. |

8. Make adjustments to the image by using the control keys:
1. ROTATE- To rotate the view of the image either 90, 180, 270 or 0 degrees. 2. APERTURE- Contols the sharpness of the image. 3. AWC- Controls color quality. 4. ZOOM- Reduces or enlarges the image. 5. IRIS- Lighten and darken image quality.

9. Joints in lamp arms allow for adjusted lighting. |

Please Note: Moving the projector away from screen will create a larger image.
