Still and Video CamerasProcedures for Borrowing a Camera (Still or Video) Cameras are available only for class use or on-campus meeting presentations. The borrower must speak with Mike Brillante, the Director of Media Services (718-390-3428) before being given the equipment. All borrowers are held responsible for the equipment. In the event the camcorder or any accessories are lost, stolen or damaged, the borrower will be expected to pay for the damages. The borrower is responsible for purchasing his/her own tapes (mini-DVC format) or larger memory card. Requests require a two business day lead time. However, it is not uncommon for all cameras to be reserved for a course for an extended period of time, so early planning will assure that equipment will be availabel for you when you need it. Faculty & Staff: You will agree upon the date of equipment return and sign the camcorder loan form. Please remember to return the equipment the day you agree to return it. Students: You must first get the professor who assigned the video project to sign the camcorder loan form. You will then bring the form to Mike Brillante (office within the Help Desk), agree upon the date of equipment return and sign the camcorder loan form. Please remember to return the equipment the day you agree to return it. If you fail to return the equipment at the agreed upon time, a fine of $1.00/hour will be instituted and a hold placed on your account in the Business Office. Camera Accessories Available
