Purchasing a Computer

Wagner College does not have a required laptop program, however we do recommend that all students have their own computer and we recommend that it is a laptop.  You may purchase any computer that you wish and we support both PCs and Macs.

Software Specifications

Microsoft Office 2007 

You should purchase a complete Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint. PowerPoint is available on public computers throughout campus, but you will find having your own copy more convenient.

Anti-Virus and Firewalls

You should have Norton anti-virus on your computer and up-to-date. We DO NOT recommend that you use any internet security or firewall programs.
