Teleconferencing: Polycom 7000e
Information Technology has set up Spiro A for use as a teleconferencing center. A polycom 7000e is available to be used in the lab. Spiro Lab A must be reserved for that time slot through external programs and Media Services also needs to be contacted. Please contact Academic Computing for further assistance.
One-on-one discussions: Skype
Skype has been installed in all of the computer labs. In order to use Skype a student must bring a headset and camera. These are available in any electronics store. Media Services and Academic Computing do not provide these tools. The headset can be the type used for a cell phone which has an earpiece and microphone. (Approximate cost of this equipment is about $40 per student.)
