The mission of the Friends of the Theatre is "to join together in love of the performing arts while recognizing the importance of sustaining and nurturing the theatre program at Wagner College. They seek to promote the program, in all its dimensions, for the betterment of the students, the College and the community at large." Under the faculty direction of Theatre Department Chair, Felicia Ruff, the Friends of the Theatre will be coming together during the season via alumni theatre nights. In cooperation with the Development Office, Co-chairs Lisa DeRespino '85 Bennett and Robyn Ruehl-Lippert '97 are leading a special initiative in raising funds that will be designated to purchase new seats for the Wagner College Main Hall Theatre. You can "name" a seat in honor of or in memory of someone with a donation of $500.

To date, the Friends of the Theatre have sold 168 seats in a fundraising effort to buy 400 new seats for the theatre in Main Hall. Theatre seats have been named in memory or in honor of someone.
