Wagner College Parent Association By-Laws
Mission
The Wagner College Parent Association will actively participate in the support of the College and its ideals to help ensure the institution’s continued success now and in the future. Members of the Association will participate in and collaborate with students, faculty, administrators and alumni and assist in organizing activities such as admissions recruiting, hosting orientation activities, family weekend planning, mentoring and fundraising. The Association will encourage and enjoy social events both on and off campus.
Membership
All parents or guardians of a student enrolled in Wagner College are automatically members of the Association and encouraged to become active participants.
Goals
1. Serve as ambassadors of the College.
2. Promote an understanding of Wagner’s educational programs.
3. Develop opportunities for Wagner students, i.e., internships, employment, graduate study, etc.
4. Promote development and fundraising initiatives of Wagner College.
Initiatives
* Host area receptions for prospective students and their parents.
* Staff tables at area college career fairs.
