Project Muse ® provides full-text access to more than 320 scholarly journals in the arts and humanities; social sciences; and mathematics. Fields covered include literature and criticism; history; the visual and performing arts; cultural studies; education; political science; gender studies; economics; and many others. The database allows keyword and Boolean searching across the full-text of all journals in the database, selected subsets of journal titles, or in just a single title. Tables of contents of articles and book reviews can be searched by author and title as well as by Library of Congress subject headings Full-text articles are provided in HTML format with linking among article bibliographies, citations, endnotes, author biographies, and illustrations.. The list of citations resulting from a search may be e-mailed or exported directly into a citation management program (either EndNote or Refworks). Includes a Journals Alert email alert service that sends notifications of new journal issues or new titles available in Project Muse. |
