We now offer online video tutorials to cover the basics of research using library resources (including a 6-episode "Introduction to Research" tutorial complete with assignment and worksheet), as well as in-depth tutorials about specific article databases, citation managment tools (such as Zotero), and other research tools. LibGuides are subject-specific reesarch guides created by our librarians for student use. The guides direct students to the most appropriate databases, books, and Websites for their topic as well as provide citation management and plagiarism prevention information. Contact librarian Cathy Perkins to arrange for a customized guide for your course or to have an existing guide posted to your Moodle course page.
Plagiarism Prevention
The library offers plagiarism prevention workshops for students who have had trouble understanding the rules of academic writing and citation. This is intended for students who must meet requirements of the Academic Honesty Committee. Contact librarian Cathy Perkins for more information.

The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Research
The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Research is located on the lower level of the library, inside the Study Center. The key is kept at the Circulation Desk near the main level entrance; Library staff will help you sign the key out to use the room. |
