Horrmann Library Access Policy for Wagner Alumni and Community Patrons
The Horrmann Library of Wagner College, a private institution, serves students, faculty, administrators, staff, Alumni, and Community Patrons (including Friends of the Library). Alumni and Community Patrons are admitted under the conditions outlined below.
The following guidelines for using the Horrmann Library, borrowing books, or requesting Interlibrary Loans are now in effect:
  • Wagner Alumni must first obtain a Wagner College Alumni Card from the Alumni office in Reynolds House. Phone: 718-420-4165.
  • Alumni may then fill out the Alumni Library Card Application.
  • Community members wishing to become Community Patrons may fill out the  Community Patron Library Card Application.
  • Both applications allow for TWO (2) annual membership options
    • “Facility Use Only” cards allow the following library privileges:
      • Use of library materials WITHIN the library.
      • For an additional $10 fee, Card holders may print from the library computers. (A printing account will be set up for the user, which is usually done within 24 hrs. It will take longer if request is made at the weekend). A user name and password will be assigned at this point.
    • “Borrowing Privileges” cards allow the following library privileges:
      • Use of library materials WITHIN the library PLUS ability to borrow circulating materials (books, audio recordings)
      • Any Alumni, with a valid "borrowing privilege" ID card may borrow up to five (5) books. They may also request Interlibrary Loan materials. (If he or she is accompanied by a friend, a Day Pass is required).
      • Any Community Patron with a valid "borrowing privilege" ID card may borrow up to three (3) books. They may also request Interlibrary Loan materials. (If he or she is accompanied by a friend, a Day Pass is required).
