There are three major tutoring services offered in the Library: Research Tutors, Writing Tutors, and Peer Tutors

Research Intensive Tutors [RITs] are trained by librarians to assist students in their preliminary research. They can help students find books, articles, relevant web content, and citation style manuals. The Research Tutors' desk is located on the Main Level of the library near the Reference Desk.

Writing Intensive Tutors [WITs] can help students improve their writing skills and will read and review student papers for writing and citation styles. The WIT office is located on the Main Level of the library, in the glass office at the front of the library. WITs are not managed by the Library. See the WIT website for more information.

Peer Tutors offer one-on-one subject-based tutoring. Peer Tutoring is located on the Lower Level of the library in the Study Center. Peer Tutors are not managed by the Library. See the Peer Tutors website for more information. |
