Library Tutoring Services

There are three major tutoring services offered in the Library: Research Tutors, Writing Tutors, and Peer Tutors

Research Intensive Tutors [RITs]

RITs are trained to help students use the library to find resources, develop research strategies, and assist with library computer and printing questions. The Research Tutors' desk is located on the main level of the library near the Reference Desk.

Writing Tutors

Writing Tutors offer assistance and guidance about writing and plagiarism prevention. They are located on the Main Level of the Library, in the office near the entrance. Writing tutors are coordinated by Professor Mary Zanfini. Please see the Writing Tutors web page for more information.

Peer Tutors

Peer Tutors offer tutoring in specialized subject areas. They are located in the Study Center on the Lower Level of the Library. Peer tutors are coordinated by Professor Mary Zanfini. Please see the Peer Tutors web page for more information.
