THE SENIOR PROGRAM the final component of the Wagner Plan. Like the First-Year Program, it is organized around learning communities — but not the same kind of learning communities students experience in the First-Year Program.

Because the Senior Program is meant to sum up the Wagner student's undergraduate education, all the work completed in the Senior Program learning communities takes place in the student's major department.

Senior Program learning communities generally include three components: a capstone course, a reflective tutorial, and some kind of experiential project. These components, however, often take very different forms from department to department.

We suggest that you use the links below to learn more about the Senior Program in general, what your department's Senior Program looks like, and what other students have had to say about their experience in the Senior Program. We've also included links to audio recordings of a few Senior Program thesis presentations as well as the abstracts of many more.
