You probably have given considerable thought to which academic programs will best suit your personal and career interests. We encourage you to explore various academic disciplines throughout your first and second years at Wagner College. The liberal arts core curriculum is designed to expose you to new areas of academic study, develop skills of critical analysis and foster the integration of ideas. The liberal arts core curriculum will also help you identify an area of academic interest that you will want to study in depth. You will formally select this area of in-depth study (i.e. major) either at the end of your first year or during your second year. It will be helpful for us to know more about which academic area(s) of study you have been considering. The information that you provide will assist us in guiding you through your first semester.
