"I really wish I had the guts to keep my guard down and leave my comfort zone. There are so many incredible, interesting and exciting people to meet at Wagner that all have new things to teach you. Try talking to someone new as often as you can, and you'll be amazed at the people you will meet and how much you will grow and learn as a person!"
-Katharine Ronald, Class of 2008
"Be an ACTIVE student!!! Join clubs, look into Greek life, help out with fundraisers for your favorite charity. It doesn't matter, as long as you are active (both you and your resume will appreciate it in the future).

"I wish I had known to not be nervous during Orientation. Everyone at Orientation is in the same situation as you. Everyone is meeting new people and getting adjusted to living in a dorm building and sharing a bathroom. Don't be shy!!! Just randomly walk up to people and start a conversation. You'll be surprised at how many people share the same interests as you do."
-Melissa Alvarez, Class of 2010
"I loved meeting and befriending the kids in my LC. Don't be afraid! Once we realized we were all equally nervous, we opened up and gained some true friendships that I still maintain."

"I wish I had known every class that I absolutely HAD to take, and that I should try to get those requirements out of the way first. Your advisor will probably tell you this and you will most likely ignore them, but surprisingly they're right. Don't panic if you don't have any classes that don't involve your major for your first semester at school, or even the whole year. Getting core requirements out of the way can be pretty brutal but you will have to do them at some point in order to graduate. Save yourself from the frustration of having to take intro level courses your senior year!"
-Megan Czaja, Class of 2008

"I wish I had packed lighter. I realized as the peer leaders were hauling my junk up the flight of stairs I really didn't need stuff like my 200+ cds or the library of books I insisted on bringing." -Kat Murphy, Class of 2008
"I wish I had known that money doesn't grow on trees, and shopping sprees on Fifth Avenue are a bad idea!"
-Jackie Saliski, Class of 2009
"Don't hide the intricicies that make you unique! Chances are people are going to respond better to people that they feel are truthful. Relax, no one is going to judge you because you have a silly laugh or you still love *NSYNC. They are going to appreciate you for you."-Kat Murphy, Class of 2008
