Living on Campus
Connecting with Friends and Family
While students build new connections through their life on campus at Wagner, many also find it important to maintain connections with friends and family from home, whether they be in New Jersey, New England, Florida, California, Asia or Europe.
Every residence hall room is wired for free internet and email access. Each student in a room has an individual connection so that they can keep in touch with old friends as they make new ones.
Each student also has their own phone number and voice mail. (And you can talk on the phone while using the internet.) Students recieve a PIN number which allows them to access their own phone number from any phone on campus. And, each student receives a separate phone bill!
There is a post office located in Campus Hall, and mail boxes in the Union. Students can both send and recieve mail and packages on campus.
Where is the Dining Hall?Always one of the first questions students ask when they arrive on campus...Where is the Dining Hall? There are several options at Wagner. All students living on campus must subscribe to a meal plan (the "Board" in "Room and Board"). You may choose from 10, 15 or 19 meals per week. Wagner's dining service provider is Chartwells, for current hours, please see their Wagner web page . For information on the Chartwells company, please view their You can also opt, during certain hours, to eat at the Hawk's Nest, a snack bar where you can find fast food, sandwiches, salads, beverages, ice cream, etc. You may also choose to use "Flexi-Cash" which works like a debit card in the Hawk's Nest. For late night socializing, the Coffeehouse serves refreshments, along with a full array of entertainment throughout the semester. And, you will soon learn the numbers of the local pizza delivery services! |

Money...Money...Money
At the beginning of each year, during Orientation, a representative from Richmond County Savings Bank comes to campus to assist students in setting up bank accounts. Richmond County maintains an ATM in the lobby of the Union for student use and accepts NYCE and PLUS cards.
A student bank service and check cashing service is provided to resident students at the Business Office Cashier's window, located on the first floor of Cunard Hall.
For students interested in making money, the Financial Aid Office assists in helping student locate jobs on campus.
