WAGNER COLLEGE NOW OFFERS CFP® CERTIFICATION
Staten Island, New York - Effective January 1, 2007, the Certificate in Financial Planning (CFP) Board will require that applicants, in addition to meeting other existing requirements, must possess an accredited undergraduate degree in order to be considered for CFP® certification.
To accommodate these applicants, Wagner College is now offering the Certificate in Financial Planning (CFP) beginning Fall 2006. The course will be offered on Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m and is primarily for Investment Advisors, Stock Brokers, Accountants, Tax Managers, Insurance Brokers, and anyone responsible for the management of finances. This five-course certificate has been designed to fulfill the educational requirements for the Certified Financial Planner certification examination, administered by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. Students learn the fundamentals of financial planning, including investment planning, income tax planning, financial planning, process and insurance, retirement planning, employee benefits, and estate planning.
