The center was created to support the college’s civic engagement activities, which are central to both its curriculum and its role in the surrounding community.
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Wagner College, with approximately 2,200 students and a curriculum that unites the liberal arts with learning by doing, has become the 262nd institution to join the Independent 529 Plan, which allows parents to lock in tuition rates at less than present levels for their children’s future use.
The Independent 529 Plan was launched in 2003 in a cooperative effort by a national group of private colleges and universities to help families manage the rising cost of higher education. Under the program, individuals can purchase tuition certificates for future redemption at any of the participating private colleges and universities, now including Wagner College.
A conference on "Doing Business in China, Russia and India" will be sponsored by Wagner College's Center for International Business Strategic Studies.
The conference will be held on Thursday, July 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the NYU Midtown Center, 11 West 42nd Street, Suite 408, in Manhattan. Attached is the PDF version of a flier for the conference.
The guest speakers for this conference will be Long Li of the Chinese consulate's Commercial Office, Russian trade representative Alexander Bulatov, and Indian Consulate General Neelam Deo.

On Saturday evening, May 19, the Finals for the Wagner College Young Musicians Competition 2007 took place.
The Grand Prize Winner in Level I (Pre-high school) was Luis Diaz, who plays flute.
The Grand Prize Winner in Level II (High school) was Laura Kegeles, who plays cello.
Wagner College alumni gathered over the weekend of June 1, 2 and 3 for their annual reunion on Grymes Hill. One of the weekend's highlights was the yearly ritual of class photos.
