Barchitta named ‘Woman of Distinction’ by Soroptimists


Barchitta awardOn Sunday, March 30, Wagner College’s Julia Barchitta was honored by the Soroptimist International–Staten Island chapter at its 26th annual “Making a Difference for Women” awards reception, held at the Vanderbilt on South Beach. Barchitta was given the Soroptimist Woman of Distinction Award “in recognition of her outstanding voluntary and professional accomplishments in the program area of education.”
